I just had my transmission pretty much all rebuilt. When I went to pick it up the mechanic told me it was running great and all gears sounded quiet, except the reverse made a bit of a noise due to the straight cut gear. I backed out of the shop a short ways and it made some noise. The next day I was backing up a bit further and it sounds horrible, grinding like a MAC truck! My reverse never had that awful grinding noise before, even with a bad trans! Any suggestions before I talk to these guys tomorrow at around 10am?
