84 cj w/ 79 360 team rushed
Hopped in the jeep at 1 am this morning to go home from work and she started right up and noticed it was running funny before I made it across the parking lot. Stopped and it seemed like it was running on half the cylinders if I didn't touch the gas it would idle way down and kind of sound like it had a lumpy cam, i watched the exhaust and the lower it would idle the darker the exhaust would get. It would idle all the way down until it would die. I checked the cap and wires to make sure they were tight and they were before taking the company truck home.
Any suggestions on where to start in the morning? The only thing I have done to it in a while is put gas in it yesterday (91 octane).
