I've been researching lift kits for my stock '05 Rubicon for some time now. I am getting close to pulling the trigger but there are so many brands and models of suspension lifts. I was hoping I could get some good suggestions and tips from the community here.
I'd like to run 35" tires and from what I can tell I need at least a 4" suspension lift.
I've been told to keep the lift in the suspension and not do a body lift.
I'm not much of a 'wrencher' so I don't know if I could do this installation myself (let alone find time to do it with three young kids running around). Has anyone found professional installation shops?
Some kits include more parts than others and some are built way better than others. I don't plan on wheelin' more than a couple times a year so I don't need anything super heavy-duty.
Thanks for all your input!
