Hey, I recently got a 97 cherokee from a family member. It has 284xxx miles on it and from what I've been told everything on it is original, (does have a lift on it, 2 inches maybe). My problem now is I can't get it to go a above 60mph, the engine idles fine, but once I hit 60 it seems as if it shifts down gears and revs itself up, any help or ideas?
Transmission or worse? or something else
