I have been prepping my wheels for paint with primer (both high build to get rid of some of small nicks and auto primer over that) and sanded with 500 and 1200 wet grit before trying to paint with Duracoat Wheel Paint.
When I finally sprayed the duracoat paint, it has horrible results!!! almost like it's beading up on the surface without wetting out. Has anyone seen this before, and if so, what do I do to make is paint correctly???
The pics below don't quite do it justice, the paint you see there is built up very high, almost like the paint is only sticking to itself rather than to the wheel.
Any help or tips are greatly appreciated!
