Had to replace my TH400 transmission in my 79 CJ7. Replacement transmission had a quadra-trac attached that is without the low gear selector on the side. I pulled the original transfer case with the selector. My question is which transfer case is more bomb proof?
Both transfer cases are in good working order and it appears that the drive shafts will work for either case.
