Last week i purchased a 2011 Grand Cherokee V6 and it came with Flowmaster dual muffler system. It sounds really good but little too loud for my parents as they will be riding it occasionally. My goal is to keep the dual exhaust look but get rid of the sound. I heard one option is to put an OEM 5.7L muffler to it but before i do that i want to know how much quiter will it get? Again i am shooting for out of factory V6 sound level. Please let me know if anybody has made that conversion.
Worst case scenario i will buy the OEM V6 muffler and go back to single exhaust.
