My 07 wk 3.7 drives fine locally until i hit the highway in which the engine and transmission would have already been warm, so as i am doing 60mph exactly, i want to accelerate but it doesn't go any faster, i press on the gas and the rpm shoots from 2000 to 2700rpm with no increase in speed. No lights or codes whatsoever. I even bought an OBD reader and no codes there neither. What could it be?
Is this an electronic problem or transmission? It maintains its speed but cannot go any faster. I do believe that it goes go past 60 when its borderline cold-warm but after that it doesn't accelerate past 60. Any clues??
