I had a blown head gasket/cracked head, replaced them, and have put my 2000 XJ 4.0 liter back together. She's running fine.
Now that she's circulating coolant again, it still looks pretty rough, and I
really want to do a few repeated coolant flush/purges. I'm really tempted to open the block drain plug, but for some reason it seems folks are hesitant to do so.
Other than 'just disconnect the lower', has anyone got any thoughts/comments to share on this...
