Yes, I am one of the guys that lurks around this forum, reading every single build thread possible but never speaks up.
A few years ago I owned a 2000 TJ and absolutely loved it in college. Unfortunately I was poor during college and found it hard to install parts outside in MN in the winter. Here is the link to my small/college build...

Any who, graduated college, my time in the military is coming to an end, and I finally got a great paying job. Which brings me to my next step...the 2015 JKU Rubicon.
Now I know a lot of you guys are gasping at the idea of getting a 2015 JKU because you don't know of the faults are yet and other things that are wrong with them but I am sick of getting cars that have already had the crap beat out of them by the PO and have already been modified. I want to start on a clean slate, with the the factory parts on that I choose...
Which has basically made me the dealerships worst nightmare...I tried finding a 2014 JKU Rubicon that had the 6 speed and 4.10 gear ratio with Anvil Blue color...no dealer could find what I was looking for which, in their heads meant try to sell this guy on any other 2014 JKU. I have basically given up on the 2014 because of two factors...1, they are holding their resale really well, and 2, because half of the JK owners that are trying to sell them have made them non jeep functional (I am not sure if that last line makes any sense to anyone, but a JKU is not supposed to have 20in Rims and 8 subs in the back).
So I have decided in two weeks to walk into the dealership with a list of demands and just have Jeep build me a JKU the way I want it.
2015 JKU Rubicon
Anvil Blue Clear Coat
3 Peice Hard Top
4.10 Ratio
6 Speed Manual
Just need the basics. I will add the rest on after the jeep is physically at my house lol.
But enough with the rant. After ordering the Jeep, I am going to guess that it will be a 6-9 week wait until it gets delivered so until then...let the spreadsheets with part numbers and prices begin.
