Ok, I am proceeding with the parts collection to change over to an external slave on m 87 Jeep with 2.5/AX5 and need to confirm all the parts needed.
I bought a used bell housing from ebay that is external type for the AX-5 trans for $50
Haven't found a used front bearing retainer yet but they are available new if I have to go that route. (quite costly!)
Other parts I will get:
clutch fork spring
http://ift.tt/1BuhKYX
clutch fork
http://ift.tt/1BuhM2Z
clutch fork pivot ball
http://ift.tt/1BuhM31
slave cylinder
http://ift.tt/1ACoRJv
front transmission bearing seal
http://ift.tt/1BuhM35
Going to get a new clutch kit for a "1994" wrangler. This will include clutch disc, pressure plate, throw out bearing and pilot bushing.
Questions:
Will I be able to use my new clutch master cylinder that was for the internal slave set up? Thought I read where the line might be an issue?
Have I missed anything?
Thanks for any help,
Bob
