Stealerships! - Or how do they cheat...

Just purchased a 2007. 3.0 crd.Previous owner did his last maintenance six months ago in Jeep dealership in Austria.Cost of service was 1236 Euro (cca same amount in $).Few months and 9000KM (cca 5500 miles) later i wanted to change the oil and oil filter.I did not mean to change the air filter because of low mileage.In last second before end of maintenance i decided to clean the filter with compressed air.And surprise! Filter was completely clogged with dirt and i am sure he was in the car for lot more mileage than stealership bill says...Shame on them.Filter was charged 34 euro +vat (cca 40$) but it has not changed...

Is this how looks air filter with 5500 miles on the back? I have a doubt...
