XJ misfire help!

I hope I'm posting this in the right area since I'm new to the forum! I have a 2001 Jeep Cherokee Sport, 4.0 I6. I've owned the Jeep for a little less than a year and it currently has 74k on it. I'm aware of heat soak issue with the misfiring, but recently it has gotten a lot worse. The check engine indication came on and I read the code showing misfires in cylinders 3 and 6. The light started flashing on my way to my mechanic. We have tried plugs, coil pack, and crank sensor so far. No luck with any of that. The engine has started ticking while it misfires after startup. All of the cylinders test good for compression. I am in need of help on where to go from here since I'm young and somewhat new to car owning and fixing. Any help is greatly appreciated thank you!
