Binding clunk while driving in a straight line

mardi 5 août 2014

Wheeled some gnarly rock and mud terrain over the weekend. Coming down off a rock ledge I had to cut the wheel hard left directly following a full lock right. I heard an awful binding clunk noise. Clunk isn't even the right word. Worse. Figured it was either my track bar shifting on loose bolts or control arms binding. Also noticed it a few more times on softer turns and even driving straight on a smooth road. Got home, bar bolts a little loose and arm joint were dirty so I broke them down and cleaned them. Dry steering test revealed no noise. Binding clunk still occurring randomly, both turning and straight. Thoughts? Motor mounts?
