Hello, i am looking for suggestion as to what to check.
I have a 2008 Patriot, 2.4L, automatic, 100,000 miles.
The alternator light came on, then I noticed the eps light was on, it won't go out, no matter what i do. And i see my rig wont downshift manually any more, When i slow down at a traffic light i can hear an unfriendly growling noise coming from somewhere up front.
It is hesitant off the start, i am not sure if it is not downshifting automatically, possibly.
I looked at the battery, and alternator(what i could see), belt is ok. The signals seem normal speed, it was -20, and late at night, so i am waiting for daylight. Just wondering if anyone had all these symptoms before, thanks.
