Probably a dumb question, but when comparing speeds and gearing at 70mph, is this in 4th gear or 5th (OD) Most charts I've seen show rpm at 70mph, but don't specify which trans or other possible variant.
I have 3.07's and a 5 speed nv3550 with stock looking tires (225/75/15) and run 2000rpm at 70mph in 5th gear and about 2600rpm in 4th at 70mph and it doesn't match any gear charts I've found.
Planning an 8.8 swap with 4.10's and trying to compare tire sizes and rpm ranges to see which will be most similar to what I currently have. Truth be told I would actually like to be at a little higher rpm at 70mph, my 5th gear is pretty weak unless I'm going faster than I want or need.
