Low compression and power

Hey everyone im new to the jeep world and just bought my first tj wrangler. I bought it in a very used condition for cheap and am an auto tech student currently and am looking to sup it up. So far ive had low power and checked the compression which was only around 95psi and only 50ish in cylinder 1. Any tips and what can cause this or what to do to get this rig wheelin in the northwest haha. Thanks
