Turn signal lever busted. I think.

New problem: Whatever it is that activates the turn signals is broken. The stalk is just hanging there loosely flopping around in the left turn position and moving it up and down doesn't activate the signals. Also, there's no "click" sound or any type of resistance indicating the various positions of the stalk. The actual stalk itself is fine since I can still control my wipers.



I tried searching the old posts but I can't seem to find a similar issue. What's broken and how do I fix it?



I have a '95 with a tilt column and intermittent wipers if that helps. Thanks.
