8.8 brake line question

I am about to do my 8.8 swap. I have a quick question on the brake line.

I have a braided line going down to the T fitting on my D35. Will that fitting hook up directly to the soft line on the 8.8.

Does my question make sense? I am trying to prevent having to cut into the hard line on the 8.8 and adding a T fitting.
