This is my daughter's car. She bought it two years ago in Western Australia. Dealer is a rogue and kept the car for the whole of the 3 month warranty period (whist loaning out a courtesy car to her to keep her quiet) then bodged it to get it running. when it ran a big end shortly afterwards, they refused to fix it under warranty. (it had been off the road during the warranty period due to overheating so this was classed as an unrelated fault. I suggested she scrap it and ut her losses but she has no money. I emigrated to Oz from UK aand started work on it this January with a view to using a crankshaft from a scrap block. (I am a motor engineer with 50 years experience). Progressing OK so far but slowly as she lives an hour's drive away with little facilities (although I now have the engine on my bench at home). Some problems as her husband had attempted a "fix" and there are parts strewn all over a rubbish tip of a garage so it's a bit of a jig-saw! Husband is now on the way to being history (long story) so I'm on my own searching and identifying parts (never worked on a Jeep before - getting interesting!)
