New Battery, New alternator .
Last week I had to replace the alternator.
Did that, jump started to Jeep and al was good. Putting out 14+/- volts.
Over the course of the week, I started it half a dozen or so times.
No problem- fired right up each time.
Of course, the last time I started it, I left he key on ..
Last night, I jumped started it and for some reason felt the need to check the alternator output - 14+/- volts. All's good, right?
Nope.
Took it out for a ride and after about 20 minutes. Stopped to get gas.
No start.
My voltage gauge read 8 volts.
Going to have the battery tested this morning, but in the mean time does anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
It's always something with this thing
Thanks in advance
