So in moving to Amman, the shipping company and/or inspectors bent the small phillips screw that held on the plastic driver-side rear seat release lever. That screw then failed, and then the inside plastic ridges stripped, making the lever useless. I bought a replacement handle w/ screw on eBay, which turns out to be VERY different, even though from same series Jeep GC. See the pics attached. My original was 4" and curved; the replacement is 2 3/4" and straight. The part number I have looked up is 4773931
Two Questions:
1. Can anyone confirm which style goes with which GC? Mine is a Laredo package, with leather seats.
2. Thoughts on how to replace it? The tapered end of the old screw is still in the seat bracket, and hard to get to for lack of clearance.
TIA from the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan.
