So it finally happened to me! Sunroof hasn't worked for a while and like a dummy I tried the button the other night and it opened but then would not close!!!
Did a search and found limited info. There are threads out there but don't really say a whole lot.

I removed the headliner and opened up the module and inspected the pins. As you can see in the attached photo, one of the pins had broken loose from it's solder. Pressed a small nail between the pin and the solder and sunroof closed.
