I'm new, so sorry if this has been covered elsewhere....but I just bought a 2004 WJ Grand Cherokee and am looking for a 2" front hitch receiver. I fish the OBX and haul a custom cargo carrier that is for rods, gear and coolers. It's all up front and can be pretty heavy.
Some of the ones I've seen online seem so low below the bumper and would just plow thru the sand. Others look like they are better suited for lighter loads.
I don't mind drilling holes or trimming the bumper. Any help with suggestions or recommendations is much appreciated
