gas cap in kk 2012 problem plz help

i got new kk and i recently discovered that my gas cap "the external " donot lock when i lock the car "with center locking system "

also the internal gas cap donot have key



so is that normal or the external cap is malfunction or got an issue





also why do jeep do such insecure gascap like that ?? whats the idea
