Just took delivery of Tj

Just took delivery of a 2002 Tj with 6cyl auto & 2.5" lift The first thing that has to be done is change out the Chrome wheels and street tires. My question that I have is I have a set of Goodyear DuraTrax 275R/70-18 that I took of my truck because of to much highway noise that have a lot of life left in them. Am I asking for trouble with that heavy of a tire. I plan on re-gearing later this summer when me job slows down some. The Tj will be used mostly for around town and trail riding.
