Possible starter going out?

97 TJ, 2.5l. So the last week or so, sporadically, when i turn the key to start the Jeep, nothing happens. Theres no clicking like a dead battery, no whirring, and no cranking. Just nothing. One audible click can be heard, and then nothing. I know the battery isnt dead, because the radio and lights and fan all work fine. I can usually get it to go after i turn the key a dozen times or so. Does this sound like the starter going out? Any ideas? I gotta get this fixed. I'm going to moab in june!:D
